Beta terms last updated: 30 October 2026. The provider is Martin Bergmann, trading as Wallet-X, sole proprietorship, Alte Brauerei 8, 46509 Xanten, Germany. Contact: info@wallet-x.de, telephone +49 2801 9879472.

Participation and costs

Blizn is a mail app for macOS, iOS and iPadOS with a companion Apple Watch app for watchOS 10 and later. These terms apply exclusively to the free TestFlight beta. Participation requires an invitation or approval through TestFlight, a supported device and compliance with Apple’s requirements. The beta does not create a paid Blizn subscription. Costs charged by your internet, mail or voluntarily selected AI provider remain subject to that provider’s contract.

Installation and licensing through TestFlight are also governed by Apple’s applicable terms. These beta terms apply additionally to the extent they are validly agreed. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Development status and duration

The beta is intended to test an app that is still in development. Functions may change; errors, interruptions and changes to the data structure are possible. The current internal beta includes a first Watch app for reading incoming mail and sending short replies after a preview and an explicit send confirmation. When using the route through the iPhone, Blizn must be active there for sending. Attachments are shown by name only on the Watch; composing new messages, push services and complications are not yet included. No later feature set or particular release date is promised. Individual TestFlight builds may no longer be usable after Apple’s specified test period expires.

Use a separate test mailbox for initial tests and back up important data independently of Blizn. Receiving, sending and actions in server folders affect the actual connected mailbox. Your configuration can optionally be synchronised through iCloud. After separate activation, drafts can be edited further on other devices through the respective mailbox. Unsent content and attachments are also transferred to the mail provider; earlier versions may remain there as additional drafts. The outbox and uncertain sending attempts remain tied to the device. These backup recommendations do not limit statutory claims.

Mail accounts and external services

Connect only accounts you are authorised to use. Credentials must be treated as confidential. The app must not be used for unlawful messages, unauthorised access or abusive bulk mail.

Mail and calendar services are governed by the terms of their respective providers. Availability and server functions also depend on those services. Blizn does not require a separate Wallet-X user account; actual mail functions require a connected mailbox.

Optional AI

AI writing assistance is voluntary and switched off by default. Gmail content and replies and forwards derived from it are excluded from AI assistance. It requires the external service you select. Before transmitting anything, check whether you are permitted to have the intended text processed there. Review generated suggestions before accepting and sending them; they may be factually wrong or unsuitable. Activation does not create a Blizn subscription and does not automatically send an AI suggestion as mail.

Feedback and privacy

Feedback is voluntary. Where possible, submit error descriptions using test data and remove confidential information from screenshots. Providing feedback does not grant blanket rights to your own message content. The privacy policy describes the processing of personal data.

Ending participation and liability

You can end participation by leaving the test and removing the app. Wallet-X may stop providing future beta builds. Any later paid use requires a separate agreement. Ending the test does not delete data at your mail, calendar or AI providers.

The statutory liability rules apply. These terms contain no blanket exclusion of liability for data loss, breaches of duty or damage. Mandatory consumer protection rights are not restricted.
